LTFHC’s Inaugural Trip to DRC and Burundi

On January 8th, 2010, the LTFHC will be departing for its inaugural trip to the DR Congo and Burundi. We are unsure of the frequency of our internet connections, but check back here over the course of the follow month to learn about our meetings with governmental officials, NGOs, health care workers; our adventures in the bush of Eastern Congo, and our overland and over-water journeys around the lake. Trip preview includes: Kinshasa, Lubumbashi, Moba, Kalemie, Bujumbura, Kigoma, and then a freight train ride all the way across Tanzania to Dar es Salaam! Happy 2010, one and all!
