To date, the LTFHC/WAVE has helped improve the lives of more than 300,000 people in the Lake Tanganyika Basin.

We’ve accomplished this through strategic outreach programs that have addressed some of the biggest health care gaps in the region.  Not only are we providing direct support by delivering healthcare, training local health care workers and improving health center infrastructure, we’re also building the infrastructure necessary to provide these services long-term: establishing important communication hubs, gathering essential medical data and building strong relationships with the people and the governments of the region. We will continue these programs while simultaneously working toward our broader goal of constructing and launching the clinic-ship.

Our accomplishments would not be possible without the generous support of our donors and partners. We are grateful to those who have already contributed, and we hope others will join our cause.  At this critical stage in our growth, we need your support.
