Melissa Vorselen
Projects and Administration
Melissa works closely with LTFHC founder, Dr. Amy Lehman, assisting with project-oriented and administrative tasks, as well as other core day-to-day deliverables, for the organization. Educated at Wake Forest University, Melissa started her career at BBDO/OMD, in New York City, developing media strategies for General Electric’s consumer and trade businesses. After 2+ years, she left this position and transitioned to marketing on the client side at Williams-Sonoma, Inc. at their corporate headquarters in San Francisco. At WSI, Melissa led the planning and execution of direct-to-consumer marketing campaigns and managed demand sales forecasting for their emerging brands, Pottery Barn Teen and west elm. After taking a few months off from the corporate world to volunteer on a job creation project in Khayelitsha, South Africa, she decided to leave WSI after nearly 5 years to pursue efforts in the nonprofit sector.
