Named one of Forbes’ 100 Most Powerful Women in 2009, Ann Veneman served as the Executive Director of the United Nations Fund for Children from 2005-2010. At UNICEF, Veneman directed staff in 150 countries and worked to advance programs supporting child health, education, and protection from violence, among many others.
