Collaboration

Working with WAVE provides exceptional opportunities to gain greater insights into this extremely neglected part of the world, as well as to conduct fieldwork and research in virtually any area related to global health and development in this ultra-rural region.

We plan to build capacity by training local health care workers to create a water-based teaching institute, collecting, preserving, sharing data and partnering with a very wide range of organizations including NGOs, governments, academic institutions and commercial enterprises.

Beyond this, the organization will expand to assess and roll out new technologies and equipment in the field and at the village level. These will range from new and emerging development technologies such as water filters, clean cook stoves, and alternative power sources to innovations in telemedicine and communications.
